Kintsugi—a Japanese art and practice of repairing things—sheds a new light to our lives by teaching us the significance of mending our personal wounds, both physical and abstract. The idea to "join with gold" is synonymous to recognizing and accepting our deep-cut imperfections not just to ourselves, but also with others. Gluing our pieces back through acceptance and a new hopeful sight forward, not to disregard the wounds, but to be with it.
